	Castello di Poppi - www.castellodipoppi.it - The site presents the Castle at Pioppi and a very detailed reconstruction of the famous battle of Campaldino in 1289 between the Florentine Guelphs and Arezzo's Ghibelline armies. The multimedia presentation includes photographs of the all the parts of the castle, with detailed descriptions of the purpose of each. There is information on reaching Poppi, including the cost of tickets and opening hours of the castle. A final note: the presentation is entirely in Flash inside a popup window, which can present difficulties in viewing it, and it is only available in Italian at the moment!
	Sanctuary at La Verna - www.santuariolaverna.org - Official site maintained by the friars of the Verna Sanctuary has a detailed history of the sanctuary, including information on the museum, hospitality and services offered to pilgrims and visitors and the hours of the various structures and of the liturgical celebrations. Another section includes information on meetings, conferences and spiritual retreats offered by the Franciscan friars.
	Tourism Board of Arezzo - www.apt.arezzo.it - The site for the Tourism Board of Arezzo offers information on the city as well as on the major towns of the province. The site includes useful details on monuments, museums and events as well as on the area's parks and natural reserves. The section on itineraries is interesting, as it proposes various ways to go about visiting the province.
	City of Cortona - www.comunedicortona.it - Official site for the city of Cortona presents services and activities available for local residents. The site also contains useful information on visiting Cortona and sites of major interest, with a section dedicated to events planned in the area and cultural initiatives organized by the city.
	Etruscan Academy Museum of Cortona - www.cortonamaec.org - Official site for the Etruscan Academy of the city of Cortona presents the museum and the archaeological park. The various sections of the site include maps and photographs of the museum's rooms and useful information for visitors, including visiting hours and ticket costs. The section on the archaeological park in Cortona, which includes an urban area as well as another section outside the town, presents some of the monuments and Etruscan and Roman sites within the park.
	Monastic Community of Camaldoli - www.camaldoli.it - Presents the hermitage and monastery community of Camaldoli, with details on daily life within the monastery and the liturgy. Another section details the history of Camaldoli as well as present day activities including the formation of novices and teaching.
	Official Tourism Site for Anghiari - www.anghiari.it - Contains a lot of information on visiting the medieval city on the border of Tuscany near Arezzo, from a historical summary of the city and Battle of Anghiari to information on museums, local artisan specialties and gastronomy. Includes maps and general events.
	Provincia di Arezzo - www.provincia.arezzo.it - Detailed information from the Province of Arezzo and the cities that are part of it, as well as information on services offered and calendar of events. Lots of information on schools, contests and projects handled at the provincial level. Unfortunately, the site is only available in Italian at the moment.
	Piero della Francesca - www.pierodellafrancesca.it - Site dedicated to the restoration project of works by Piero della Francesca in the province of Arezzo, including the "Madonna del Parto". The site includes a history of the frescoes, details on the restoration and an archive which documents all knowledge of the works to aid in conservation and future restoration.
	Zoo Park of Poppi - www.parcozoopoppi.it - Presents the natural park solely dedicated to European Fauna, whose 50 hectares of forest host wolves, owls, deer, bears, donkeys and minks, among other European species. The site includes a list of animals at the park, services available to visitors and useful information for visiting the park and surrounding area, including cost of tickets.
