The site presents the Castle at Pioppi and a very detailed reconstruction of the famous battle of Campaldino in 1289 between the Florentine Guelphs and Arezzo's Ghibelline armies. The multimedia presentation includes photographs of the all the parts of the castle, with detailed descriptions of the purpose of each. There is information on reaching Poppi, including the cost of tickets and opening hours of the castle. A final note: the presentation is entirely in Flash inside a popup window, which can present difficulties in viewing it, and it is only available in Italian at the moment!
