	Grotta del Vento - www.grottadelvento.com - This site is dedicated to the network of galleries, caverns, pools and minerals which make up the underground complex of what is called the "Wind Cave" near Lucca. A section covers the origins of the cave, with three itineraries to follow (with a guide) and a photographic gallery shows off the shining stalactites and stalagmites and flowing alabaster curtains. The site has a map and directions for getting to the cave, as well as rates for the tours.
	Lucca and its lands - luccapro.cribecu.sns.it - A site focusing on the cultural treasures the Province of Lucca offers, from castles and bridges to museums and archeological sites. Many of the sections have a further in-depth section to cover the history of the places. Itineraries are also detailed, with an updated section on events and exhibits.
	Province of Lucca - www.provincia.lucca.it/uk - Official site for the province includes information on the council and members. It includes useful addresses for public services and a map to the municipalities that make up the province. The site includes links to the weather, information on Lucca and to accommodation structures.
	Puccini Festival - www.puccinifestival.it - Every year the Puccini Festival foundation celebrates Giacomo Puccini by putting on the most famous of his operas during July and August in an outdoor theater. The site is very complete, with information on the season's program, synopsis of the operas in schedule and a biography of the composer. Also included is information on buying tickets, the theater and a photographic gallery.
	Viareggio Carnival - www.viareggio.ilcarnevale.com - Site of the Carnival of Viareggio, one of the most important carnival celebrations in Italy and Europe, presents the history of the event, with details on the characteristics that make it particular. Dates and theme of the current year's carnival are listed, with information on purchasing tickets. Finally, the Carnival Citadel Museum is described, with history and details of visiting hours. The Italian version contains a large photographic gallery, as well as an archive section and useful information for visiting Viareggio.
	Antro del Corchia - www.antrocorchia.it - Information on the Antro del Corchia, a cavern inside Mt. Corchia located at the edge of the Regional Park of the Apuan Alps in Versilia. The site contains information on reaching the entrance to the grotto and useful details for organizing a visit. The cavern and itinerary are described in detail, with a photographic gallery showing the stalactites and other features of the grotto. 	Center of Folk Traditions in the Province of Lucca - www.centrotradizionipopolari.it - The Center's objective is to study and conserve and promote the demo-ethno-anthropological culture in the Lucca area. It does so with the San Pellegrino in Alpe Museum, a folk theatre and meetings. There is a very an interesting section on traditional events divided by period of the year that gives an insights into ancient traditions still being performed today.
	Eliseo Bed & Breakfast in Garfagnana - www.eliseo.info - The small family-run bed and breakfast is located in Gallicano, in the Apuan Alps and area known as Garfagnana north of Lucca.
